Prosthesis/Limb Impairment

Drivers with loss of foot, leg, hand or arm are required to have a Skills Performance Evaluation Certificate per section 391.49 of DOT regulations.

Certification stating there is no impairment of:

-Hand/Finger impairment that interferes with prehension or power grasps

-Arm/Foot/Leg impairment that interferes with the ability to perform normal tasks associated with operating a commercial vehicle or other significant limb defect or limitation that interferes with the ability to perform normal tasks associated with operating a CMV or granted Skills Performance Evaluation.
